    ST-ST Patch Cord

    ST-ST fiber optic patch cord is a bayonet mount cable with a push-in and twist mechanism. It is an old generation patch cord designed for providing one of the best Ethernet solutions from the 80’s to the 90’s. 

    SC stands for Straight Tip connector which is very similar to the BNC connector or Bayonet Nut Connector.

    Secure Bayonet Locking Mechanism

    The ST connector is manufactured under the standard IEC 61754-2 for high speed connections in datacoms. It has a unique key design that provides a locking coupling feature to prevent twist or movement of the 2.5mm ceramic ferrule. 

    The ST connector secured at both ends of the patch cable also has a bayonet lock for securing the connection of the patch cord to the device. ST/ST fiber optic patch cords maintain durability even in excessive pulls, strains, snags, and impacts during cabling installs and maintenance.
